First Phonics is a series of graded activity books. It helps children to learn the basic sounds and spelling patterns required for reading and writing. First Phonics Book 4 reinforces children's understanding of letter blends (such as 'tr' and 'sl') and single sounds made by more than one letter ('sh', 'ch' and 'th').
